Nadeesha Warnakula

MSc Student

Hi! I am Nadeesha Warnakula, an MSc student in Soil Science at the University of Saskatchewan and a member of the DIGSS research group. I am originally from Sri Lanka, where my interest in environmental sustainability and agriculture first began. Before joining USask, I worked in environmental research and gained hands-on experience in soil fertility and greenhouse gas research at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. My research interests include soil biogeochemistry, GIS, remote sensing, and digital agriculture. Through my research, I hope to contribute to more sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural systems.
